The hotel didn’t match the advert, was far too pricey for its size, and there were hidden fees like amenities added each night; the only amenity I saw was a foosball table in the lobby. I checked in on the first night, then left and cancelled 20 minutes later.

The hotel is sufficient for a few days in San Francisco, well‑situated near downtown, with a good bed and a room that has everything needed; given the high city prices, the rate is reasonable. The listing photos don’t match reality—everything feels older and lower quality, the door doesn’t block hallway noise well, and the hotel holds back USD 200 even after prepayment.

The staff were great, the bed was the most comfortable we’d had in California, but the carpet was dirty throughout the hotel, and the location is awful—right outside you find homeless people shooting up and zombieing around.

The location is convenient for public transport and the area is quiet at night; sidewalks are clean, and it’s close to supermarkets, restaurants, and the BART station to reach the airport. There’s no desk or chair for laptop work, so I had to drag the heavy sofa toward the bed to set up a workspace.
