Everything about this place hit the mark. The food was unbelievably good – the Swedish buffets were huge and beautifully presented – and the restaurant felt homely and spotless. Staff were always friendly and even welcomed us with our dog, no hassle at all. The hotel sits right by the Jizera‑Mumlavá confluence, surrounded by clean, beautiful nature and far from tourist crowds.

Our group of four stayed in two balcony double rooms for a week on half‑board, and the location – three kilometres from Harrachov, right by a gas station but surprisingly quiet at night – worked fine. The décor is basic and a bit dated, yet everything was immaculate and the beds were comfortable enough to avoid any back pain; we just swapped the odd pillows for our own.

We enjoyed a pleasant stay where both breakfast and dinner were always plentiful and varied. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, and the kids loved the excellent playground on the grounds.
