The studio cabin was impeccably kept, superclean and quiet, with fresh sheets and a pleasantly scented bathroom body wash and shampoo. The grounds were tidy, the beach was nearby, and a 15‑minute trail walk led into Bargara; the Turtle Education Centre was a 10‑minute walk away. The only downside was the lack of privacy: the front deck was separated from the neighbours by a see‑through slatted wooden structure.

The unit was spacious and close to the beach, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen and bathrooms were excellent and all new. Only one bedroom had air‑conditioning; the rest had fans, and one room lacked a window screen. It was a muggy weekend and I was sick, so that didn’t help. Not much to complain about, and I would still recommend the property.

The location and villa were fantastic, and we especially liked the fast chargers available. We were on a long trip and Turtle Sands was easily one of the best places we stayed. Nothing.
