The bed in the guesthouse was great; I brought a small night light. It’s a short walk from the train station to Zhongshan Road where there are restaurants. The 3‑person room costs 1482 NT, with three single beds, and the sleep quality improved. I also booked a whale‑watching tour through a car‑rental shop, renting one vehicle for 2 days at 600 NT, and whale‑watching cost 680 NT per person. The only issue was the black mosquitoes near Liuyutan.
