I give it 7.0/10: the staff are very pleasant and helpful, the rooms are just the right size, the bed is fairly comfortable, cleanliness is satisfactory, and the buffet breakfast earns a 6/10. The hotel sits directly on the main road, which could be a plus but also a minus because of nighttime traffic noise; the breakfast is very basic and isn’t replenished, the lack of a coffee machine is a big downside since only pour‑over coffee is available; the pillow is completely uncomfortable for a good night’s sleep; the bathroom’s sink drain doesn’t work properly, so you can smell sewage; and the shower curtain is unattractive and definitely needs replacement.

The price for the room and meals was great, especially the tasty breakfasts included in the room rate, and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful—though one lady sometimes grumbled a bit, she was still polite and there were no real problems, while the rest of the staff absolutely deserve top marks. The parking in front of the hotel is large and free, the cleanliness of the property is outstanding, the rooms are quiet even during restaurant events, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms have air‑conditioning. However, the building shows signs of age here and there (a cracked tile in the corridor and a stain left from carpet cleaning in the room, but that’s all), everything worked properly, it was safe, super clean, and pleasant. In the room there were no glasses, bottled water, or coffee/tea, but you could buy all of that at the bar or restaurant. There was also no hair dryer in the bathroom, but since I’m bald that didn’t bother me and I didn’t ask the staff if they had one to lend.

“Prespali jsme na ceste k Baltu, z dalnice dobre dostupny motel.”

One night’s stay was more than enough for a good night’s sleep and the breakfast was excellent. The rooms still smelled like they used to be smoking rooms.
