We didn’t realize the property sat on the main road through the village, but the small garden was pretty. Unfortunately, dustbins outside the bedroom, a tiny window, and a large camper van parked in the middle of the road made a bad first impression of the white barn.

The layout was solid, the place was comfortable and clean. I’d rather have a proper shower than an over bath, but I get that it was the best option given the space constraints.

The location was perfect for us, and the owner was lovely and always available if we needed anything. Nothing to complain about.

This place is a real gem - warm, cosy, and spotless, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The village it's in is gorgeous, with a lovely green, tiny bridges over streams, and a really peaceful vibe. We're close to St Ives and Godmanchester too, which made for some great day trips. All in all, a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the area.
