The small cabins with shared bathrooms are newly built, cozy and well equipped, and they even have a little entrance hall where you can leave shoes or gear. The campsite is set in a beautiful farm building at the foot of the mountains, and the shared facilities are quite decent, but the cabins are designed for four people and we were only two, so the interior felt cramped, especially with suitcases, and the biggest annoyance was the proximity to the road where trucks pass by even at night.

The welcome was very pleasant, and the location is perfect for walking. The place is very charming and kept in excellent condition. The chalet, the reception, and the site are all well‑situated.

This place sits perfectly between Oslo and Rørøs, offering great hiking options and a quiet area. I’ve rented a cabin here several times. The smallest cabins are positioned so you don’t hear or see the activity on the campground with motorhomes and tents, and you get a nice view over the earth and towards Hummelfjell. Nothing to complain about 😁
