From top to bottom, this place is spotless and beautifully maintained
The dinner was one of the best meals I've had in Japan - the dishes were beautifully prepared and the service was top-notch
The hotel's location was also a big plus, making it easy to head into town for dinner and then get a ride back without breaking the bank.
The staff were super friendly and helpful

The place feels like a long‑standing inn but with a clean, modern Japanese vibe; I even missed the lounge at night, though it seemed to serve drinks and I was curious. I stopped by in the morning, found it very calm and perfect for reading. All the on‑site baths were excellent, and I could also use the sister hotel’s water, which has an open‑air pool on the 10th floor that felt very spacious. Because I arrived during the “hot‑water splash festival,” the rates were a bit higher, but I left thinking it was worth it and that a two‑night stay would let me really enjoy the baths. The only downside was the sister hotel’s front desk, whose hospitality felt lacking and the service was not pleasant.
“ゆっくりくつろげました”
I could soak in the hot spring at my leisure. The only downside was that the room was a bit far.
“Wonderful hidden gem.”
The private onsen was incredible, the riverside location stunning, and the staff were wonderfully friendly and accommodating, even with language gaps. It offered great value for what was included, and the food was fantastic. I wish I could have stayed longer and would definitely return. The only issue was that staff spoke very little English, which would help attract more travelers and boost the local economy.
“また泊まりたいと思う程、素晴らしい宿でした!”
The room was clean and the view from it was fantastic. Breakfast was a buffet with many options, all delicious, and I kept refilling my plate.
“Ryokan con experiencia completa”
This ryokan is perfect for tourists who want the full experience. The buffet is extensive, mostly traditional Japanese fare. Getting there by bus or on foot is tough; you can only reach it by taxi, which might cost a little over 2500 yen depending on your city location.
