“Sehr geschickt kaschierte Mängel”
We stayed 12 nights at the accommodation. The overall location on Texel was very good. The reception was friendly, the care package for the first breakfast was very nice, even with sprinkles and honey cake. Cleanliness and beds were very good. It was nice to be alone in the whole area. The attic apartment was unoccupied. I don’t know how it would have been if there had been other guests upstairs. From the pictures it didn’t show that neither the toilet nor the shower had a washbasin, so we had to wash our hands at the kitchen sink and even brush our teeth there… The heating was not really controllable overall. In the kitchen the heater initially leaked quite strongly, after a few days less, it never got really hot. Because we had a few stormy days, we sometimes had to cook a little. But there were many blankets and furs in the apartment, so everything was fine overall. The floor on the window side of the bedroom (laminate) is sagging. It feels a bit like moss, soft, springy. We couldn’t really get used to it until the end. The whole floor was “hilly.” We were also surprised by the claim “garden view.” The “garden” was a nicely furnished smoking corner with a fence around it (quite annoying the fence) on the paved forecourt – with a view of usually two parked cars on a relatively main street… we saw nothing of a garden.
