I was denied entry because the operator wouldn’t accept the price I had paid; he demanded double the nightly rate and a minimum stay of three nights, otherwise no room would be offered. The money I already transferred has not been refunded yet, so I would not recommend booking here.

The hotel staff told us we’d cancelled the booking upon arrival, then claimed we’d booked the wrong date, and finally forced us to pay €50 extra for rooms we hadn’t booked. We had reserved two rooms with private shower and toilet, but were offered two rooms with shared bathrooms and had to pay €50 extra for a small single bedroom. After a long journey, arriving late at night, we just wanted an easy check‑in and to get the rooms we had booked.

Nothing good to say. The service was terrible. They confirmed our booking for three single beds, then told us on the day of check‑in that they couldn’t provide them. The staff helped us in no way, the property refused a free cancellation request and charged us €180. We will take legal action. They forced us to cancel on the day of check‑in after confirming our booking. We had a reservation for three beds, but the property only offered two. I submitted a free cancellation request that still hasn’t been accepted. We paid €180 for a place we weren’t allowed to stay in and were made to pay for it. Disgraceful. We have been robbed. We will take legal action.

Only the location was good because it’s not far from Passau. The cleanliness was terrible; the bed linen was far from clean, as was the shower.

The inn “Zur alten Post” has everything you need to feel comfortable immediately. The hosts are incredibly friendly, the food on the terrace is excellent, and the comfortable rooms give the vibe of visiting friends. It’s a shame we were only passing through!
