Three beds with a sunset view, quiet street, goldfish and plants downstairs, egg, corned beef and bacon breakfast, air conditioning – it even existed in an out‑of‑the‑way part of Negros. The foam mattresses in the bunk beds were thin. The shower heat was hot and not adjustable. There was no toilet seat. Tiny ants entered the room through the chewed‑up door frame. The blankets were thin. No fridge.

The host was very accommodating and the breakfast was good. The place needs improvement, and the road was bad.

The location is terrible, surrounded by a reputation for troublemakers and addicts who frequently cause problems; the area is easily accessible to these elements, and the gate in front of an open field lets anyone climb the fence and knock on the door. Security measures are almost nonexistent.
