The hotel features an infinity pool surrounded by palm trees, colonial-style rooms with forest or golf course views, free-standing bathtubs, and WiFi. It's a 5-minute drive to Ballito and 20 minutes to King Shaka International Airport.

The food was great, but the room wasn’t really clean – there were webs in some parts of the unit, the bedding and gowns had turned cream‑white instead of white, and the couch had burn marks. It looked old and uncomfortable.

The path to the very place goes through the jungle, which was a highlight, but the glory that was promised faded quickly.

Manesh from reception was extremely helpful, quick, and clear, always reachable via WhatsApp and answering promptly; the porter was also friendly and waited for us at several spots, even giving us a tour of the estate and explaining many facilities we would have missed otherwise. The on‑site restaurant offered a good variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. The rooms looked nice but the AC didn’t cool properly, requiring a few maintenance calls; one suite leaked and the bed was very high, yet the property fixed those problems. Bathroom toiletries were lacking, so bring your own; the hotel didn’t give us access tags for the padel courts, which should be clarified to avoid hassles. The location is quite remote, making Uber/Bolt rides difficult, and there’s no private shuttle service outside the estate.

The staff were very helpful, but the room’s décor felt a bit dated and was very dark because of the surrounding vegetation.
