“Lovely property with some improvements to make”

I stayed at this place a few years back, right next to the jungle where I could spot spider and howler monkeys in their natural setting, which was truly amazing, and the staff were incredibly friendly, making the visit better than it could have been. However, the property had many torches that stayed unlit during our 5‑day stay, even though they had been lit before and would have made the place look spectacular. The toiletries—shampoo, conditioner, and liquid soap—were in pretty artisan containers but lacked lids, so the products felt odd when used, and we ended up bringing our own. Some bug nets were broken, and one room door had a large gap at the bottom, letting more bugs in, which, combined with the overall lack of attention to such details, left the experience disappointing. The hotel also seemed understaffed.

“Excelente”

The place is in the jungle, clean, very quiet, the pool is great, the bed is good, the rooms are nice, and the décor is lovely. It lacks a restaurant and drinks.

“Une chambre sale, un matelas moisi”

Nothing positive; I didn't stay long because the room and bedding were dirty. The receptionist, who was fairly friendly, seemed embarrassed to show me that room, handed me the keys on the terrace, and left. I asked for a refund, the manager told me to file a claim with booking, and after several follow‑ups the issue was resolved. Everything was bad; I didn't stay long because the room and bedding were dirty.
