The staff were friendly, the bath was great, the healthy meal presentation was nice, the water tasted good, everything was clean, and the driftwood objects were lovely. It would be nice to have a toilet on the second floor.

The trip was amazing, beyond what words can explain—staff, location, nature, all of it. The couple is very kind to children and is my favorite. I definitely want to go again and maybe have a drink together next time. The only thing I’d like is a small fridge in the room.

The place, the room, the onsen, the meals, and the hosts’ kindness were all wonderful.

It was an amazing experience. Everyone on staff was extremely friendly and attentive, making me feel comfortable and well taken care of at all times. The outdoor onsen was spectacular, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting completely surrounded by nature. The food was excellent, both dinner and breakfast, with great quality and presentation. It’s the ideal place to rest, forget stress, and enjoy a peaceful setting. Also, next to the cabins and very close to the small village, there’s a river you can visit. Definitely a highly recommended experience for anyone looking for relaxation, nature, and authenticity. The only thing to keep in mind is that you need to take a bus from Shirakawa-go to get there. The trip is short, about 20 minutes, and quite comfortable, but it’s a detail to consider when planning your visit.
