The family was adorable, the room comfort was perfect, the location was peaceful and close to the rice fields, but there might be a lack of blinds on the windows to avoid being left in the dark with the curtains.

The pace, tranquility and cleanliness were spot on, and the owners were very kind. The pool was clean and available, and the structure feels modern.

The room was brand new, spacious, with a separate shower, an outdoor kitchen, and a swimming pool. However, sleep was disturbed because the high volume and density of surrounding buildings made everything echo in this room, which has 6 guest rooms. Numerous locals in their rooms, the owner, family members, and four barking puppy dogs in a makeshift area added to the noise. The next door had a TV, conversations, water pumps, and behind this clean picturesque setting was an open chicken coop, with all the singing and dancing roosters. A five‑minute alarm clock could go off at any time—early hours, morning, noon, and night. The hot water shower lasted only 5 minutes, enough for one person until the electric system warmed up again. There was no daily room service, the toilet paper left to smell in an open bin, no safe deposit box, a broken front door lock, and a broken shower fixture. If it weren’t for the noise and lack of sleep, I would have extended my stay.

The house was well maintained, the room was spacious and the bathroom clean. The location was quiet and close to Ubud Central. Everyone was humble and friendly and helped with everything I needed. I highly recommend staying here and enjoyed it very much.
