The only bright spot at Hotel Swagat was its location—right in the town center with easy access to the Brahmaputra River. The staff were cold and unprofessional; even after reminders, TV maintenance never happened. The rooms felt extremely stuffy, and the complimentary breakfast menu was very limited. The quality of the hotel food was awful.
