“Plutôt agréable”
The reception and cleanliness were good, but the noise from the ongoing construction in August made the stay unpleasant.

Le Méridien N’Fis sits on 5.5 hectares of lush parkland in Marrakech’s Menara district, offering rooms and suites with mountain, garden, park or pool views. At dusk, illuminated Andalusian gardens showcase tinkling fountains and silhouetted coconut trees. The hotel features three world‑class restaurants, a spectacular spa, and proximity to two of Morocco’s premier golf courses.

I was utterly disappointed at the Méridien N'Fis in Marrakech, paying a high price for a 5‑star hotel that delivered nothing of that standard. We booked three nights in one week expecting comfort, peace, and quality service, yet the reality was far from it. One evening, between 23:00 and midnight, the electricity went out and wasn’t restored until about 03:00, and when it came back on, a light suddenly lit up in our room, waking me up in the middle of the night. I couldn’t sleep again until 06:00. The worst part was that the next morning the power cut again, apparently due to ongoing renovations. I had a morning appointment and couldn’t dry my hair or get ready properly. On top of that, breakfast was impossible and even a simple cup of coffee was unavailable. Is this what a 5‑star hotel should offer at such a high price? I understand that renovations happen, but it is unacceptable to keep guests at these rates without prior notice of the work and the resulting disruptions. We were never informed about the renovations or the power outages.

The hotel was noisy from construction during the day and we were not warned. The bathroom faucet was leaking, and the room smelled of tobacco when we arrived.

The rooms were clean and lovely. The site felt like a construction site, not very welcoming; the bar/food staff were not very helpful, but the doormen were lovely.

I was shocked when the electricity went out from midnight until the afternoon; I had to move to another hotel and was still charged for that night, so I think I should get a refund since I didn’t get to use the room. The breakfast service was also disappointing, and with no power most of the food tasted awful.
