The accommodation seemed brand new and not yet worn. My room, meant for single use, had a pleasant size and a small fridge. The bathroom was spacious and everything worked well. The view from the window was dreamlike. Breakfast was simply inadequate, offering drinks and only sweets, plus a bit of fruit and yogurt. I bought bread, cheese, and sausage at a nearby supermarket. The elevator only works with a 10‑cent coin. Walking up 245 stairs became my daily workout. On departure the elevator was out of order and no one could get it running. The LUX is in a converted apartment; it could be seen as a demolition of living space.
