The only positive thing about the stay was that the staff were friendly, helpful, and assisted me in booking a Halong Bay cruise, which counts for them. The apartment itself was shocking in terms of cleanliness and safety: upon arrival on the floor we discovered that the area was used for washing hotel linens and that the washing machines for sheets and clothes were there, with workers entering and exiting continuously; having workers in the same area as the apartment made us feel unsafe and lacking privacy, especially with children; the balcony glass was broken and had a "do not touch" sign, but that is not an acceptable solution—we are a family with children, and this balcony and door can be easily accessed by kids; worst, the balcony door does not close fully, posing a clear safety issue; the elevator and surrounding area were linked to the workers and laundry, making the place completely uncomfortable; upon entering the apartment there was a foul, disgusting odor throughout; the level of cleanliness was very poor and the apartment seemed not properly cleaned before guests arrived; the kitchen utensils were very dirty to the point I couldn’t use them to cook; the sheets were dirty and torn; the covers and blankets were dry and uncomfortable; the most disgusting thing was that we found cockroaches inside the apartment and a wasp walking on the floor when I left the bedroom—honestly, when I book a place for my family, cleanliness, safety, and privacy are the minimum requirements, and this apartment failed those basics: broken balcony glass, a door that doesn’t close properly with children present is not just a simple note—it’s a safety issue that should not be ignored.

The hotel’s location is great for heading to Bãi cháy beach, which is very close. The rooms feel clean and have a pleasant scent. The air‑conditioning keeps the room cool, the floors are spotless, and the bed is comfortable. I didn’t like the fragrance spray in the rooms and the hallway scent, which felt a bit stuffy. The bathroom could use more soap dish space for easier showering. Hot water is available, but the shower head is hard to adjust for a steady warm stream, so I had to use a separate straight faucet to get hot water. The fridge doesn’t cool well. The night light bulb is broken. Unfortunately, the hotel doesn’t offer any dining service, only a lounge area.

The hotel is right next to the beach and the city center, making it easy to get around. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic.
