I stayed at the Toyama Toyoko Inn the day before, and it was hard to compare. It would have been nice to have a large, women‑only bath.

I appreciated the free parking, the included breakfast, the quiet setting, and the complimentary apple juice, yet the breakfast was in a separate building, the annex entrance lacked a ramp and had a heavy manual door, the elevator was cramped, and there was no coffee service on the first floor of the annex.
