The sea view from the window was lovely, and the sweat that seeped out during the sandstorm was surprisingly soothing, especially after applying the face mask I used at that time. However, the fridge wasn’t very cold, and adjusting the air‑conditioner temperature proved difficult.

The sand steam bath was a highlight, the meals were delicious, and the staff were friendly—no problems at all. We had a great time with family, and the facilities had a historic feel but were spotless. The overall vibe was very Showa‑retro and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Especially at dinner, the local shochu was 90‑minute all‑you‑can‑drink, which was a huge satisfaction. The convenience store was cheaper than other roadside stations. No negatives to report.

The staff were fantastic. We were a family group traveling together, and they managed to arrange a separate dining room for us so we could celebrate. Afterwards, the karaoke bar was a blast.

The building felt old, but the cleanliness was meticulous, giving the impression that a lot of effort goes into maintaining it. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious. I was disappointed that the dinner menu at the neighboring table differed from ours; we weren’t told anything when we booked, and it seemed there were many menu options we couldn’t choose from.
