“Mejoras”

The location was great, but the building has 5 floors that actually feel like 6, and there is no elevator. It would help if they mentioned this so you don't arrive and find such an unpleasant surprise in the middle of summer; there is also no shared fridge, even though they have a coffee maker and kettle, so they could consider the oppressive heat in Genoa and provide something to keep things cool. A larger fan would also help, because the room is spacious and one fan is not enough (we felt the heat).

The place is in a very good spot, perfectly clean, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is adequately equipped. We had trouble locating the property because the same house number appeared on a different building on the street. Getting in was fine and we received the codes on time. Previous reviews mentioned that the lift doesn’t work, and we hoped it had changed, but the 5th floor was marked as accessible, yet the lift is simply not operating at all! The apartment was unbearably hot; there was a fan that did almost nothing. Even though the window faced the pedestrian street, the night cleaning and other noises made it extremely loud. A fridge was completely missing from the amenities. It was shocking that the room’s light switch was located outside the door! We closed the door, got ready to sleep, and then realized we couldn’t turn off the light! :D

The accommodation is especially pleasant, in excellent condition, and blends well with the city’s palaces; the terrace, decorated ceilings, tiled floors, working equipment, and comfortable beds make it a great stay.

The place was very clean and the location superb. The address listed on Booking redirects to a different location, not the hostel, which made it confusing when we arrived at night.

It’s a scam! They set up shop in Milan during Design Week to trick customers like me!
