Rooms feature simple décor, tiled floors, TV, work desk, en‑suite bathrooms with toiletries and hairdryers, and optional private balconies. Guests enjoy a daily continental buffet breakfast and a restaurant serving Lombard and Mediterranean cuisine. Como is 30 km away; Milan and Malpensa Airport lie within an hour’s drive.

The hotel was impeccably maintained, the amenities were pleasant, and the staff were exceptionally friendly; the included breakfast was delicious, making it an overall wonderful stay in a beautiful setting.

The location was excellent, right in the historic centre, and the room had everything we needed; breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and offered useful advice about restaurants, wine bars, and sights, all of which turned out great. However, the entire building and our room felt very cheap, with thin walls and doors that let in a lot of noise—including sounds from reception, even though we were on the 1st floor; the room’s layout was awkward, with doors opening the wrong way, a shower that opened oddly and leaked, a bathroom fan that could not be turned off manually (you had to wait for it to shut off by itself), and insufficient lighting; the balcony was useless because it faced the church wall, making the room dark; the room itself lacked personality, was very gray, uncomfortable, and cheap—just a place to sleep, nothing more. I also found it odd that they requested a credit card at check‑in even though we had paid online (presumably in case we damaged anything), and they literally wrote the card details on a piece of paper, which I’m not sure where they stored it; there’s no grocery store nearby, but that’s more a Bellagio issue.
