The toilet was leaking, there were cockroaches in the room, the restaurant was closed, and wheelchair access was not available.

The room was clean, there was free Wi‑Fi and the forest setting was beautiful, but on the weekend there was no breakfast, only a note pointing us to a bakery in town about a 10‑minute drive; checkout couldn’t be done in person because no staff were on site except during restaurant hours, and after calling we were told to leave the key in the room and that the hotel would charge the credit card on file, which we refused, so they offered to send an invoice—we got one marked “No Show” yet the card was still charged, which is unacceptable; the hotel needs renovation, as the current condition may suit local workers but not travelers, with missing outlet covers, hallway lighting only on a motion sensor in the main floor, a small room, a short bed with a visible mattress, and a shower cabin that doesn’t seal properly.

The location was good, but the courtyard lighting was poor and the stairwell lights did not work.
