“Great for a short stay in Bridgenorth”
The location is great and the staff are friendly, but the bed felt very hard and the décor looked a bit tired.

Food was beautiful Staff were lovely . Facilities in family room were ok Location for the railway was great with cheap car park opposite the hotel. Very noisy night as the room was above the kitchen and the bins were below the bedroom window which were used until the restaurant closed at 1030pm .The restaurant kitchen extraction unit went through the bathroom so the rooms were very noisy until the kitchen closed . There was kitchen smells from the extractor throughout the rooms . Disappointed as the room was quite expensive

Everything was excellent: the staff were very friendly, the breakfast was great, and the meal I had at the restaurant was first‑class. No complaints.

The staff were very friendly and professional, the room was basic but impeccably clean, and the food was absolutely marvelous—especially the Nepalese special curry dishes.

When we arrived, the hotel had no lights on and the door was open; after walking through the restaurant to the bar I met a teenager who told us the restaurant and bar were closed but we could stay. As a disabled guest, the hotel is not within walking distance of town, and we were never informed that the facilities would be closed. We had come to the area to attend a family funeral, which was already distressing, and then had to find another hotel 6 miles away; on top of that, we were fined £60 for parking opposite the George while searching for accommodation. I am disgusted by how we were treated—not only by the George but also by the so‑called customer service agents who were rude, terminated calls on four separate occasions, and deflected my inquiries to other agents. I was calm and polite, yet treated disgracefully. Please respond to my complaint as you promised.
