Hotel Marbella

The location is very convenient relative to the beach and the wide promenade, and the balcony is spacious. It gets very noisy at night because of unruly guests. Breakfast only offers sweets, no savory items. The elevator is unusable (or rather only usable from the first floor onward).

Breakfast is a buffet, and the room is roomy enough for five people. The waitress at breakfast does not use a tray or gloves, and she starts cleaning the coffee machine five minutes before breakfast ends.

The place is really friendly and welcoming. There’s plenty of space for everything. The bath is big enough and well prepared. Breakfast is okay, and the staff are genuinely friendly. It’s not anyone’s fault that it’s right next to the Ironman finish; during the event from 5 pm to 01:00 am you’ll see the whole event and the speaker. The race is awesome and well organized, just be ready to bring earplugs! :)

It is a lovely family run hotel, they know who you are and are once you arrive and are very welcoming It was very close to the race transition (Italy IM), and very close to the beach. The family were able to accommodate my asks and needs. Nothing really. The one thing I’d hope for next time is that the lift is working the day and day after the race!! As it was broken for a couple of days. I would also ask the property to offer breakfast earlier on race day. But they gave me coffee which was what I needed
