Ana Mari’s friendliness and willingness to help were obvious, the rooms are spacious and, while minimalist, tastefully decorated, the mattresses are very comfortable, they greeted us with a bottle of water, and the bathrooms are fully equipped.

The Rural Hotel Orquídea isn’t remarkable for its plain rooms or stark décor, but the real charm lies in the wonderful service you receive from reservation right through checkout; Ana Mari makes you feel as comfortable as at home, if not more so, and the breakfast along with the subtle touches that are easy to miss at first really stand out. The only downside was that I couldn’t sample the highly‑rated kitchen because the restaurant was closed for a celebration, but the fix is simple: just come back :)

The owner is an absolute sweetheart; I spent a weekend with my dog and the experience blew past everything I imagined… The 10‑point accommodation was flawless, and the owner’s warm, attentive service turned the weekend into a perfect, round‑the‑clock delight. I’ll definitely book again as soon as I can.

Even after the official check‑in time had passed, they waited for me, and because I needed an early checkout they delivered breakfast to my room in the morning—such considerate service was greatly appreciated.
