The owners were very nice and helpful, and the location was great—close to Lake Marion and downtown Santee for food and shopping, and an hour from both Charleston to the southeast and Columbia to the northwest. The beds were very comfortable.

The staff here was pretty unfriendly, to be honest. The area outside the hotel was also pretty rough, with people getting drunk and fighting all night. It's a shame, because the location is actually pretty central. But the noise and the attitude of the staff made it hard to enjoy my stay.

I was a bit skeptical about this place at first, especially since it didn't have breakfast and was a bit off the beaten path. But it turned out to be a decent little hotel, with a convenient location and friendly staff. It's not the fanciest place, but it gets the job done.

The staff here was really nice and helpful, which made up for some of the hotel's flaws. The big gap under the door was a bit of a problem, and the lock on the door was a bit dodgy too. But overall, it was a pleasant stay and the staff made a big difference.
