“Great!”
The room was wonderful, the location was great, and everything was clean and comfortable, yet I wish the coffee bar had been included in the price.

The Hotel Rosa De oro, Albaicín, is a 16th-century converted Franciscan convent in Granada's Old Town, nestled between the Alhambra and Albaycín district, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Bright, air-conditioned rooms feature free WiFi, flat-screen TVs, and minibars. A stunning central courtyard with a fountain, marble columns, and seating area invites relaxation. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the cathedral and main shopping street.

The place is in a great spot near Albacin and the Alhambra, with many lovely restaurants within walking distance, but I would have appreciated having tea and coffee in the room.

The staff were attentive and the room they gave us was fine, but the bathroom lighting was very dim.

What mattered most was the view of the Alhambra from the room, and I thought the value for money was excellent; the cute interior design was also lovely, making it feel like a fairy‑tale world with the Alhambra view. The front desk staff were friendly and the check‑in and check‑out went smoothly, and I liked that the key was a card system. The plumbing felt a bit old‑fashioned, though the water came out fine so it didn’t bother me too much. Also, to get from the 1F (or 0F in Spain) you need to ask the front desk to operate the elevator, so keep that in mind.

The price‑to‑quality ratio was great, the location was excellent, the staff were magnificent, and the comfort was very good.
