The Twin Room with Private Bathroom provides two twin beds for up to two guests. A private bathroom is attached to the room. Heating, carpeted flooring, a wardrobe, ironing facilities with an iron, and a tea/coffee maker are provided for guest use.

The rooms were lovely and clean, and the staff were friendly, but the food was too salty.
“It was a little run-down but the lovely member of staff who seemed to run the whole place single-handedly did say the ow”
It was pleasant enough, no frills, and offered reasonable value, but there was no chef at the attached pub, so I had to wander into town for a meal.
“Nice room”
The room was fine, very spacious, and had good coffee and tea making facilities; the location was good, just a short distance from Catterick racecourse. The macerator in the toilet was a bit noisy, but that’s hard to avoid. The biggest disappointment was that I hadn’t realized they stop serving food early on Sundays and the pub closed by 8 pm, so we had to drive to another pub for tea and drinks, even though this was stated on their website and I hadn’t seen it.

The room was very comfortable and the extra food at the pub was excellent; it’s literally 100 m off the coast to coast route, which my son was using, so the location was ideal for us. I was a little disappointed that breakfast wasn’t provided, but that was my oversight for not checking in advance, and there isn’t much to do locally for an early start either.
It was very noisy because it’s next to a busy road, which left me with very little sleep; the shower cubicle was tiny and the thermostatic valve wasn’t working, so I couldn’t adjust the water temperature and it was extremely hot to the point of almost burning me.
