The suite offers a distinct layout with a living room separate from a bedroom. It provides one double bed and a sofa bed, accommodating up to four guests. The private bathroom includes both a bathtub and a shower. Parquet flooring, heating, a fireplace and a flat‑screen TV with cable channels complete the room’s amenities.
The grounds are stunning, feeling like you’ve woken up in a forest, which I loved, but booking through the usual site proved pointless—when we arrived everything was shut down, the staff were asleep, they hadn’t heard about our reservation, and if there hadn’t been a spare room they would have turned us away with a small child in the middle of the night; the mattress felt like it belonged to the era of Shevchenko, the bathroom was so filthy that I could only clean my hands on the floor and was terrified to touch anything else, I have no idea if anyone had slept in that bed before me, the TV didn’t work, and the balcony couldn’t be opened without hunting down an employee for a key.
The location is fantastic, but there’s noise from the nearby track. The room’s sofa is convertible, though one side is lower than the other; we even put shoes under the legs to make it comfortable. There’s a large table, a comfortable double bed, and good chairs. I didn’t like that there was no hot water in the room – it started barely warm and then became almost cold. There were no anti‑mosquito nets on the windows, so all the insects from the surrounding forest wanted to crawl into the room.
