“Will not come again 😌”
It’s close to the centre, motorway, metro stop and local supermarket. The overall experience was extremely disappointing and fell well below expectations for a hotel charging about £100 per night. Serving the same breakfast for four consecutive days is simply unacceptable and shows a lack of variety, effort, and consideration for guests. The staff were not openly rude, but they were generally unfriendly, lacked warmth, and always seemed rushed, making the service feel impersonal and unwelcoming. The hotel’s location is another major issue. Situated in the middle of a residential area, the surrounding streets have a lot of graffiti, rubbish left outside properties, and an unpleasant atmosphere. More concerningly, homeless people and others approached guests at the main entrance to ask for money. The lack of visible security or reassurance is a serious concern and detracts from the comfort and safety one would expect from a hotel. At about £100 per night, guests should expect a reasonable standard of breakfast, welcoming service, a comfortable environment, and proper security. Unfortunately, this hotel failed to meet those expectations. Overall, it represents poor value for money, and the standard of service and facilities does not justify the price. I would strongly encourage management to address these shortcomings, especially the repetitive breakfast, staff hospitality, and security arrangements, to improve the guest experience.
