55 Hôtel Montparnasse

I appreciated the location; the metro and bus stops are very close, and right next to the hotel there's a bakery with a wide range of products and many other restaurants. The room was very clean. However, when we checked in we were asked to pay a city tax of about 30 euros, which wasn’t mentioned at the time of booking, and that feels completely unfair. I understand the concept exists, but it should be clearly stated somewhere that such a payment is required before booking.

We really liked the staff and the fact that the place had been refurbished, but the room felt a bit cramped.

“Bonito hotel”

The hotel is brand new and fully renovated, and the location is excellent, right next to a metro stop. The rooms are a bit small, though.

Estuvimos bastante cómodo, buena combinación para llegar al hotel y tanto la cama como las almohadas eran cómodas. Solo nos dejaron una toalla grande para una persona en vez de dos

The hotel is very close to the 13th‑arrondissement metro stop. There’s a fantastic café right next to the hotel where you can have breakfast at any time in the morning without worrying about the hotel’s breakfast hours. The bed is comfortable and the staff are friendly. The pillows are thin and uncomfortable. All prices are outrageous, but that’s just Paris. We paid over 1000 € for four nights without breakfast, which wasn’t worth it. It’s far from everything else but close to the metro.
