The staff were incredibly kind, everything was spotless, and the Cube was spacious for a hostel. There was a large locker for valuables, and the price was good. Because the building is very old, the corridors are very narrow and the air smells damp and musty. I thought it wouldn’t be a big deal, but once you step outside you notice the difference in air quality. If that doesn’t bother you, it’s a great place, though a bit off the main action.

The old house is cute. The explanations were overly complicated, one shower wasn’t working, and laundry could only be done when staff were present and there was no way to dry the clothes.

The kitchen has all the usual appliances and utensils, and while it’s shared you’re free to use it. There is a shared shower, and a public bath is nearby. The rates are reasonable. Because it’s old, the stairs are extremely steep, so you had to be careful going up and down.

The location is good. Everything is noisy, the cleaning person bangs doors and they’re loud, and the mattress was already worn out and needed replacing. The afternoon receptionists are friendly, but the morning guy has a somewhat unpleasant way of working.
