“Zero hospitality, 40-day response delay, and combative management.”

I booked one night (Sep 18–19) for four adults attending a 2:00 PM wedding. On July 30 I asked for a 1:00 PM checkout; on Sep 8 the hotel replied after 40 days with only four words: “We can not approve that.” I offered to pay extra for a compromise, but they said “not even with payment.” When I asked for the absolute latest checkout, they gave me “11:05 AM” – a 5‑minute extension past the normal 11:00 AM, which felt insulting. I asked for the manager’s name and contact, and they replied “I am the manager.” To keep four dressed‑up guests from being stranded hours before the wedding, I offered to pay in full for a second night, but the hotel was sold out for Sep 19. With no late checkout or paid extension possible, I requested a cancellation exception. On Sep 17 staff said, “I will escalate this to my office. I myself do not have the authority to do so.” They then ignored the issue for a month. When I followed up in October, the reply was simply, “They said no.” A 40‑day response delay, a sarcastic 5‑minute checkout extension, zero willingness to accommodate paying guests, and dismissive one‑line replies made this a terrible experience. Book somewhere else.
