We appreciated how spotless the place was and how it offered a unique, fun room instead of the usual bland one; the spot was also ideal, just a short walk from the beach and the centre, and we even caught the bus to the Seven Sisters from there – overall a lovely stay with friendly locals.

I spent four nights in a comfortably sized, stylish room at this guesthouse in Brighton’s Kempton area, and it was a pleasure, especially meeting the friendly host Paul; the neighbourhood has a handful of shops and eateries, is five minutes from the seafront, and plenty of buses bring you into the centre where more dining options await – I’d stay again, though I’d pick a different room because the décor is really cool.

Everything was outstanding – Snooze is truly exceptional, with great hosts, easy check‑in, a superb location, and rooms that are really, really clean. We used the provided parking permits and parked right outside on three of our five nights, walking only two or three minutes on the other evenings. The framed LP covers on the stairwell instantly revived many fond memories. Nothing could be better.

The themed room was adorable, the bed comfortable, the shower hot, and it’s right in the middle of Kemp Town – perfect for anyone who enjoys a guest house.
