“Nice stay but not when it’s hot 🥵”
The room was lovely and the dinner excellent, but on that scorching day the hotel was unprepared—no fans, no ice when I asked, making it a poor choice for hot weather travelers.

The hotel has a friendly, family‑like feel. The restaurant food is superb, and I believe the two stars at the entrance belong to the chef!

Breakfast was good, especially the evening kitchen. We were very satisfied.

The quiet, rural outskirts location with ample parking was very pleasant. The breakfast was very good, fairly priced, and served by an exceptionally friendly staff member. That level of friendliness is rare. The room and bathroom furnishings were very basic and need updating.

A simple but charming hotel. The bedding was hyper‑comfortable, and I hadn’t slept so well in a long time. We loved the view of the Neckar valley, the walking trails at the base of the property winding between vineyards and lovely little gardens, and the ability to walk to Esslingen. The staff are truly adorable, and don’t miss the breakfast—it’s delightful, clearly made with love. We’ll definitely come back! Everything was very good.
