One of our favorite stops while walking the Cotswold Way. The property is very nice and the room is comfortable. The restaurant was fantastic! I highly recommend it. The only downside is that sound travels easily up the back staircase from the kitchen to the rooms, but the restaurant closes at 9 pm so it didn’t bother me after that.

The staff were warm, welcoming, kind, and attentive. They really helped me feel comfortable and safe as a lone traveller. The location is fairly good for walking the Cotswolds Way; it’s a slight detour but closer to larger towns, so there are more Uber/transport options if needed. It’s a pub, so it’s a bit noisy in the evening, but that didn’t disturb me.

Good location, comfortable room, bathroom was fine, and breakfast was great. Just a bit turned around the edges, but that’s fine for what I needed.

The food was good, but the location feels a bit out of the way for the Cotswold walk.

The meals were very good, especially the homemade pie, yet the room faced the main road, creating noise in the evening—though not at night, which is understandable.
