“Var helt okey men duschen skulle haft en skrapa så man kunde ta bort vattnet runt toan”
It was good, and there was nothing I didn’t like.

The room looked fairly nice and the bed was comfortable, and the restaurant served some decent dishes – three of us enjoyed a great plank steak, though my daughter received a burger with both bun and patty dry and burnt, which earned us a 10 % discount on the whole menu; the staff in the restaurant were very friendly. The first impression on arrival was that the place has potential but feels sad and neglected, with no flowerbeds or fenced lounge areas near the wings of the rooms, and the potted plants in front of the main building are wilted; inside the main building the air is so thick with dust and an old smell that after a few minutes in the restaurant I had to open a window to avoid breathing problems despite having taken an allergy pill; the room seemed clean at first but we still found two spider webs full of tiny spiderlings, there was no extra toilet paper and the roll was almost empty when we got there, the shower floor was unsafe because the drain is right where you stand and the floor slopes downwards, the water never got properly hot and there was only enough warm water for one person to take a shower.

Good standard in a large room with nice beds. Fantastic food and in the restaurant atmospheric music is played by Edvard Pärsson. Very pleasant surroundings with a nice garden and café. Unfortunately the large building smells stale at the entrance, which lowered the impression and made us nervous about how the room would be. It was a bit to walk to the room and there were no instructions on how we would find it or if we could park closer. The hotel buildings could have been easily cleaned/painted to give a fresher impression and the corridors were swept. The room was over‑rated fresh and relatively newly renovated but you should review them if they sit empty for long; dead flies in the window sills and a little toilet paper can pull down the experience. The staff were friendly but absent/occupied, despite few guests, we felt neglected. We would have liked to order more drinks with the meal and dessert, but it felt like they wanted to “get rid of us”. Unfortunately there is no area for larger groups to mingle after the restaurant closes, only a single armchair in the room, even though it was large.

Location and staff. Breakfast was lacking. Poland not cleaned. The bathtub had no hot water. Too much Edvard Persson. Same music all day. A bit like a museum, not a hotel.

I found everything that was supposed to be there, the bed was good.
