The place was incredibly charming; the host Xavier was discreet yet ready to help with anything, the room was comfortable, the breakfast was good, and it felt like staying with friends at home.

The host was friendly and the location was quiet, but the castle “lag” in a park has now been half sold and houses have replaced it, making it less charming.

The stay was calm, the breakfast was fine, the room equipment was adequate, and the owner’s communication was good. However, the lack of sufficiently darkening shutters or curtains is regrettable, especially in the bathroom where the window looks directly onto neighboring rooms. The carpet in the room was also dirty. The castle could use a slight refresh: the staircase and entrance, in particular, did not give an impression of great cleanliness. Finally, the booking photo showing a maintained park in front of the castle does not seem to reflect reality.
