The staff were friendly, but they didn’t leave water in our room, especially in the summer—something that could really improve the stay.

The service was wow, the staff were amazing, the place was stunning—everything was simply perfect, a crazy‑good experience that felt like Thailand in Israel; I was thrilled every moment, enjoyed every minute, just wow❤️🙏🏻

Nothing at all, and again nothing!!! Shame that this is called a hotel and costs thousands of shekels per night. If there was a way to give zero stars – that’s exactly the rating I would give Orchid Hotel Eilat. A huge disappointment – we gave up a night we had already paid for at Orchid Hotel Eilat from 31.7.26 to 4.8.26, but left early and gave up that night we had already paid for simply because we didn’t want to stay in the hotel any longer. We paid almost 10,000 ₪ for three nights, no dinner, and expected a pampering holiday. In reality, we got an experience that did not match the price in any way. We booked a sliding room, but when we entered we found a small, dusty room with dirty toilets and a heavy, unpleasant smell. The shower area was full of mold stains, so we didn’t even feel it was possible to shower. We immediately went to reception and were offered to move to a sliding villa with a private pool, for an additional high fee. We agreed only to try to salvage the holiday. Unfortunately, the villa also did not justify the price: sand on the floor, torn and dirty curtains, hanging wires from the ceiling, and a neglected bathroom with a very small shower. Even water bottles were not left in the room, despite the heavy heat in Eilat. Breakfast was very disappointing: a small, crowded dining room, limited selection, and messy serving stations. From the cheese and fish area, a sharp, unpleasant odor rose. The beer stand was set up outside, no air conditioning, and one employee tried to serve dozens of guests in the heat. From what we saw, the stand didn’t look clean and the experience made us give up on the food. Even in the lobby and reception, there was a strong smell of dampness and charred wood. The villas are located up the hill, so they rely on tuktuks to reach the dining room, pool, and hotel exit, but often the wait was long and we had to walk in over 40 °C heat. The peak came the day before departure, when at 12:00 a power outage occurred throughout the hotel. No AC, no Wi‑Fi, no phones, and in the villa area there was almost no cellular reception. Only after walking down to reception were we told it was a scheduled outage for a boiler replacement. Even though it was planned work, we received no prior notice. When we asked to speak with the hotel manager, we expected at least to be listened to, apologized to, and helped. Unfortunately, we felt they didn’t listen, didn’t take responsibility, and had no real desire to find a solution. Consequently, we decided to pack and leave, even though the last night was already paid for. The hotel has a beautiful view and great potential, but it cannot compensate for poor cleanliness and maintenance, disappointing service, and an unbridgeable gap between price and value.
