Istoria, a Design Hotels member, offers 21 suites across two sites: Istoria Beach on Perivolos’ black‑sand shore and Istoria Cliff in Firostefani’s caldera. Beach suites feature private pools, direct beach access, and Mr. E Restaurant; Cliff suites are cave‑style with volcanic views. Both provide contemporary Cycladic design, Elios Spa, shuttle service, and proximity to Santorini Airport and Athinios Port.

Our stay at Istoria was simply dreamy and surpassed every expectation for a stylish, relaxed beach hotel. The rooms were beautifully designed, bright, and tastefully furnished. Breakfast was excellent – fresh, varied, and crafted with noticeable attention to detail. The location right on Perivolos Beach is unbeatable; you’re in the water in seconds. What impressed us most was the warmth of the entire team, from reception to housekeeping, who made us feel truly welcome and well taken care of. We were so pleased that we returned for another day at the pool before departure, and even after we had officially checked out we were greeted with the same hospitality. Although our official stay was only two nights, Istoria felt like a small, perfect retreat to which we’d love to return again. We’ll definitely come back!

Thank you to all the staff at Istoria Beach Hotel for turning our vacation into a perfect memory. From the moment we arrived, everyone went out of their way for us. We were given a beautiful, exceptionally clean room (housekeeping really took their time each day). The turndown service was excellent too. The hotel boasts a wonderful pool with plenty of sunbeds and is nicely sheltered from the wind, and there’s plenty of space to relax on the beach. The location is perfect: step outside and you’ll find plenty of restaurants and bars, no car needed. Every day we enjoyed a delicious à la carte breakfast with a lovely sea view. Nothing is ever too much for the staff, including the pool bar. Goli, we especially want to thank you for your service, the tasty drinks, and your kindness throughout the holiday. Dimitris, Elisaveth, Souvik, and the other ladies in the restaurant – thank you for your hospitality. We also want to compliment everyone at reception: Nikolas and the support staff (luggage, housekeeping). Vasilis, you’ve created a beautiful hotel with incredibly friendly and welcoming people. You made us feel so welcome. We want to thank and compliment you as well for everything you and your team did for us during this holiday. We definitely hope to return in the future.
