“Parfait”

Tout était parfait! Des activités top, des équipes au top et les repas variés et très bon. La piscine mériterait un petit nettoyage des joints mais sinon tout était parfait. Nous reviendrons. La clim n'était pas très efficaces dans la chambre ,le soleil chauffait beaucoup trop sur la fenêtre

“Personal touch makes huge difference”

For years my husband and I have stayed at nice resorts, and what usually sets them apart is the human touch; this stay was incredible thanks to Kaoutar, who was so kind and helpful. I had an allergic reaction and she stayed with us at the doctor’s office and later at the pharmacy, checking on me throughout. Kaoutar arranged all of our restaurant reservations, so every day we got to dine or lunch elsewhere. Sincerely thank you🤍. Regarding the resorts, we initially booked Rixus adults only, which is a few kilometers away, but were transferred to Sungate. If I book again I would choose Sungate immediately. The other one is very calm and has fewer activities. In Sungate there are a lot of games (I played darts and the girl “running”—this was amazing; I never knew it could be that much fun), and my husband played volleyball almost every day. If I had known I would stay here, I would have brought my kids; there’s so much entertainment for children. From the restaurants I would recommend Tappanyaki—chefs are amazing, funny, and the whole experience is a must. Restaurant Cactus I recommend for sunset; it has an incredible view. Akakuro has the most delicious sweet and sour shrimp, and the girls working there are so kind. There are several pools, and don’t stick to one, because each one offers a different experience. The best coffee is from Costa, but the one next to the beach is even better. The girl there is so good; she knew what I wanted and needed even better than I did 😄❤️

The hotel staff’s attention, the variety of spaces and activities, and the high quality of the food were all excellent. The cocktails are a weak point. Also, the hotel is geared toward Germans, and the meal and dinner times end too early for us.

The sea is beautiful and the mountain view is great, and the grounds are reasonably well kept. However, this isn’t a Rixos; it’s run by TUI, and while the rooms and public areas are kept clean, everything looks very old. The mattress in our room was heavily compressed. Bathrobes and toiletries have to be requested separately, which the hotel calls policy for a five‑star property. The food is plentiful and varied but tastes awful, like cheap store‑bought dough. Music starts playing in the lobby at 7:30 am, and at night you can clearly hear noise from the neighboring hotel. Outside the resort the pavement is broken, it’s dirty, and there are no decent cafés nearby.

The food quality in the restaurants was very poor. During our 6‑day stay, meat was served only once; the rest of the time the menu was mainly bland dishes and cabbage‑based meals with very little variety. The lunch restaurant felt more like a snack bar than a proper restaurant. The beach area was untidy and dirty, and the service was below expectations. The evening entertainment was also very disappointing – there was hardly any real show, just a few meaningless performances that were not engaging at all.
