“It was decent for an old facility, very clean. Close to our destination.”
The entrance to the building is not wheelchair friendly; climbing the first step into the lobby is a struggle because it is higher than the modern standard.
“Old but clean motor lodge”
The housekeeping team was excellent, making my bed and replacing towels daily, and the room stayed spotless. However, the property feels old and worn; the décor is unattractive with stained furniture and sheets, and the kitchen utensils and pans show heavy wear.
The hotel sits in a superb spot for everything I needed, just minutes from the places I visited and ate. It could have been a bit cleaner, but it was not intolerable.
