Hoe gasten het hotel beoordelen, aspect voor aspect.
We really liked how we were treated and how little we had to do ourselves. The game drives were organized and included everything. The location was top. The food and the way it was served felt very personal and humane. The road to get there was off‑road and a bit thrilling, but everyone managed it as long as you stay careful.

What a fantastic surprise! The place looked lovely in the photos but was even better in person. Bryce has renovated all the walkways, and the breakfast and reception area became a wonderful spot to sit and chat. Both Danielle and Bryce were welcoming, knowledgeable, and the attention to detail in the rooms was superb—electric blankets, hairdryer, fresh water, evening chocolates, fan, greenery decorating the towels, etc. Couldn't have wished for more. The bush walks we went on with Bryce were almost the best we've ever been on, and we've been on a few! I can't recommend them and the lodge highly enough—just amazing value for money, food was excellent and varied, and all game drives were well organized. Absolutely nothing to add.

Ons verblijf in lion tree top was echt het absolute hoogtepunt van onze reis! We hebben echt een fantastische tijd gehad en alles klopte gewoon. De main lodge en het terrein zijn mooi opgezet. Er zijn op het terrein van de lodge en vanuit de kamer al verschillende dieren te zien. De tent was van alle gemakken voorzien, met zelfs een binnendouche, buitendouche en bad. Alles werd ook goed schoon gehouden. Het personeel was ook echt geweldig en de eigenaren heel gastvrij. Aan alles was gedacht en niks was te veel moeite. Ook het eten was heerlijk, we dachten dat het gewoon een simpele maaltijd zou zijn maar in de avond was het een 3 gangenmenu en het was allemaal heel erg lekker. Ook het ontbijt was geweldig. Qua locatie vonden we het ook top. Op het Guernsey private game reserve zijn heel veel dieren te vinden waaronder giraffen, luipaarden en buffels. En tegelijkertijd grenst het ook aan een reserve dat gekoppeld zit aan Kruger waardoor je ‘s nachts de leeuwen kon horen brullen. Het heeft echt op alle punten onze verwachtingen overtroffen. Ik zou 100% aanraden om te boeken, je zal er geen spijt van krijgen

A beautiful quiet gem. Daniëlle, Bryce, Norah and the rest of the staff truly pamper you. Nothing is too much. A must is the bushwalk with Bryce; he happily shares his love of nature. And in the evening, a delicious dinner served in the boma wraps up a wonderful day. The tents were updated but the bathrooms are still a bit dated. Still, I’ve never had such a warm shower with great pressure in Africa.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and the accommodations were stunning; every evening they left a note with the next day's temperatures, and when we stepped out for a lunch break they promptly handed us a cooler with drinks and snacks, which was very thoughtful. The safari was great, with Bryce enthusiastically sharing information, and Danielle was ready with a delicious breakfast afterward. Dinner around a campfire offered a cozy, lovely setting and was thoroughly enjoyable.
