“We had a lovely stay - perfect for our needs being close to the majority of Lanzarote flying sites.”

This villa has a lot of history! It's pretty basic but clean and has everything you need for a functional stay. It was very quiet, which suited us perfectly, and there were good walking routes to the dunes. Getting to the ocean for swimming is tough from here – guests should consider a nice walk and then drive 5 minutes to Playa de la Garita for swims. Plenty of parking is on the property with good facilities to enjoy the sun or shade as you wish all day, and the washing/bathroom facilities are adequate for the number of rooms. Someone from the property was available to answer calls and emails whenever I needed them. We thought the villa had 4 bedrooms and 2 lounges, but when we arrived one of the lounges was listed as a bedroom. We had planned to use the second lounge as a sleeping room because the photos showed a door, but five male hang‑glider pilots were there and none wanted to share a room. We managed by having one of us take the main lounge as their bedroom. It wasn’t ideal for privacy but it worked. The villa also has another room off one of the other bedrooms, but it was closed off and not in use. It would have been helpful if it were available as a bedroom, though that could have caused another privacy issue for whoever was in the intervening room. Maybe the owners could create an alternative entry for future guests, as we hope to return. The sofa bed in the second lounge bedroom was stained, so we had to strip one of the beds in the twin room for bedding.

“Un sitio fabuloso, una casa muy chula!”

We loved the house – it blends into the island’s reality and its location is quiet, beautiful, and well‑situated for exploring the island. The house is very complete and comfortable. There is a slight musty smell in the rooms, but since it’s an old house I find that quite normal.

“Se podría mejorar”

It was a quiet spot. They said there were 4 rooms with a bed in each, one of them with a bed and a sofa, but that wasn’t the case. The sofa room only had a sofa. In the end we chose to share the room with the two single beds so nobody had to sleep on a sofa all week. The single beds made a tremendous noise. As for the house’s utensils, there were no kitchen tools suitable for an induction stove, so we couldn’t even cook eggs.
