The room and balcony view were good. 1. The front desk staff had a very bad attitude; the male clerk at check‑in clearly showed discrimination against people of Asian descent, and the pens we were asked to sign with were obviously meant to be discarded. At check‑out, a female staff member in a small room rang the bell for half an hour and when she finally appeared she had a very bad smell. 2. Even though the station is only a few minutes away, it has no elevator, so we had to carry luggage up several floors. 3. The location is remote—no village in front, no shop in back.

“Overall, the hotel had a great location, but the cleanliness and lack of basic guest services were disappointing.”

The hotel was lovely and its location was excellent and very convenient. However, there were several spiders and mosquitoes in the room, and even after I asked for a plug adapter, the hotel didn’t provide one.

“Tres bon sejour !”

The room was very spacious and well equipped, with a beautiful view of Lake Leman. Parking was available on the street if needed. The hotel is in a great spot for visiting Lake Leman and the vineyards. However, the roof terrace lacked tables and chairs for enjoying the vineyard and lake view, and the street in front is very busy with trains, so the balcony is noisy—though the windows are well insulated and there’s no noise at night.

The location and breakfast were good. There was no wardrobe, parking was problematic, and the staff were unfriendly.
