The Lodge was lovely and the location was excellent. It had everything we needed for a few days’ stay for our anniversary, the bed was comfortable, and having Netflix was a nice bonus. However, the space was limited because the owners’ belongings filled most of the drawers and the kitchen. Only two usable drawers in the bedroom and a wardrobe for hanging. There wasn’t much kitchen space for food you might want to take, so don’t bring too much unless it’s for the fridge. The bar on the adjacent site was lovely, but we couldn’t get into the restaurant because it was booked for the whole of our stay; no big deal since there were plenty of other places to eat.
