The location is gorgeous, surrounded by greenery for anyone wanting a few days of total relaxation. The rustic place has been renovated with style and good taste. The owners, Chiara and Martin, are exceptionally kind, and Chiara cooks amazing dishes using only local products. She also pays attention to everyone’s dietary needs. Martin explains the foods and their origins. All the rooms are spotless. We give it a 10 and praise!

Un luogo speciale, dove ritrovare la pace e sentirsi subito a casa. Il podere è immerso nella natura, in un ambiente silenzioso e rilassante che trasmette sin da subito una sensazione di pace immensa. La camera è bellissima e pulitissima, curata in ogni dettaglio. Si notano tante piccole attenzioni come le pantofoline, la crema corpo e i dischetti struccanti. Chiara e Martin sono due padroni di casa meravigliosi: gentili, disponibili e sempre attenti al benessere dei loro ospiti. Una menzione d’onore va alla cucina, davvero spettacolare! La cena è stata abbondante, preparata con materie prime di qualità e con quel sapore autentico delle cose fatte in casa. Anche la colazione è stata buonissima

What a wonderful place! From the moment we arrived, Martin and Chiara made us feel genuinely welcome. Their warmth and hospitality made our stay truly special. The food was an absolute highlight! Chiara is a fantastic cook and baker, preparing delicious, honest, home-style Italian dishes with fresh herbs and vegetables from their own garden. Breakfast was a daily treat, with homemade jams, tarts and cakes, and always a little surprise. Martin has a real passion for coffee. Do ask him for a filter coffee — the perfect start to a beautiful day in Umbria! One of our favourite moments was sitting by the romantic evening fire, enjoying a glass of wine and reflecting on the day's adventures, until the gong sounded and it was time for dinner. Such a charming ritual! Podere Le Marene is more than just a place to stay. It's a place to slow down, enjoy wonderful food and experience genuine hospitality. Dear Chiara and Martin, thank you for making our stay so memorable!. The Wi-Fi was rather slow and seemed to be on holiday too, embracing the same relaxed pace of life as the rest of us!

Chiara and Martin are two enchanting hosts. The beautiful structure is set in a lovely natural setting facing the lake. Dinner featured original, well‑cooked dishes in a very tranquil environment.

Podere Le Marene far exceeds expectations in terms of space, comfort, care, and cleanliness. Chiara and Martin are always present and attentive to needs, often anticipating them with their gestures, all seasoned with an exceptional kitchen and a connection to nature that only this place can offer.
