Nothing positive; the worst experience ever in Sri‑Lanka. We booked three nights at a $54 price on Booking, but when we arrived at Green Villa the owner demanded more than $54. The initial price was $18 per night, but he raised it to $25 per night without any reason, and threatened to make us leave the hotel and cancel our booking if we didn’t pay the extra. I was shocked by his and his family’s attitude; he didn’t respect us as a client. He told his son to throw our luggage outside immediately because we wouldn’t pay more than the Booking price, and his son did so. It was truly disrespectful, and we had a hard time finding transport to leave the villa and to find another place to sleep. It was the worst experience ever in Sri‑Lanka. We knew Sri‑Lankans are hospitable and kind, but this was the worst. So I had to cancel my booking because of the over‑pricing. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
